Who are good SIPs in SA.

SIp Providers

There are Many!!!
However, quality is the biggest question and concern. Vox is your only route, I know this because over the last 3 years I have seen many potential clients go to the competitors, and then come back.....because of quality. Goto www.supremevoip.co.za, have a look at the SIP product page.

Bwahahahaaaa :D

Why? I also use screamers voip services, it is crystal clear and works with my analogue phone as well, and the tariffs are half that of telkom. I know that it is not voip in the real sense of voip, because it works not over internet as such, it works on diginet lines, and is super fast, 10ms ping from the bundus where I am to the SIP server in JHB. The only part that travels over internet is the 20 km between my wimax and the local diginet line in screamers agents building in town. I also think this service from screamer is one of the best I tried so far, and believe me, I tried most of them out there.

Thanks for the replies. I attended presentations and installation training from telfree at the beginning of last year and was offered a franchise through a second tier company using them as a backbone. In theory they sounded good with local servers, no refiling and reasonable rates, just unfortunate that the target area was too small to be sustainable and the market already significantly tapped - needless to say I backed out. Now I'll be looking at a VOIP provider that can run on my Nokia's as well as PC as I won't have a landline.

For a bigger capacity requirement, I've used Mweb SIP with the best results to ANY other major provider in the country.
