Who can create the perfect smartwatch?

Some ugly examples there, but we are just on the start of an evolutionary trend in this direction. I think a smart watch needs to be more useful than just a time piece and a phone. but also not a distraction.

Maybe the prime gadget of the near future?
 
I would love a smartwatch as per the training watches available today, but with reporting modules coupled to you smartphone Apps. The device should also be e-ink based and primarily do time and messaging as per clock/pager. This device should last at least 7 days.

To me the mainstream vendors are not achieving what a real smartwatch should be, to them it are an accompanying Fashion Accessory.
 
It wasn't revolutionary like 3 years ago when it came out, don't see what the big fuss is now.
