Seriously: dont take offense - just playing... like I mentioned: my wife is Afr. and this kind of joke goes around like a pretty boy in prison at my house. Doesnt mean its ok with you though so please dont be offended - I'm just accustomed to playing the fool when this happens ;)

Incidentally: I dont think its a pronoun, its the auxiliary on the passive verb formation... frankly: its quite a mouthful and I'm certain there are many 1st language English speakers who dont even know what that is!

What is beyond funny is i've seen pics of members here and i've never exactly thought good looks was the common denominator. In fact, if there was ever a demographic which should have some empathy for others regarding looks it should be those on this forum.
 
Yeh! But this guy had a competition going between him and his gf on a forum. Who the fsck does that? Thats like targeting yourself!

Notice he didnt say which of them is good looking, he was asking which was better looking.

He pointed out they were having a playful(read: lighthearted) debate and i'm sure they thought it was kinda funny. So to end the debate he though he would spread the lighthearted fun and see what the forum thought. All he expected was a few comments saying he or she was better looking.

It's just sad people took such a lighthearted thing and turned it into a tarring and feathering session.
