I've been quite disappointed in the human race of late. Most of it started when I was, again, made blatantly aware of the worlds ignorance and prejudice. It just seems to have snowballed from there! It's 2008 ffs!! You would think people would get over things like homosexuality, drug addictions, teenage pregnancies etc etc. Unfortunately it seems that this is very far from the truth.

When are people going to get over themselves?

And most of all, when will the Brady bunches of the world acknowledge that they are as human and fallible as the rest of us? In fact, one of their biggest flaws is their narrow minded inability to see or understand anything that exists outside of their perfect little world.

And lastly, why should those of us, that have not conformed to what society deems as acceptable, have to walk around with a proverbial star on our sleeves?

If only those 'perfect' people would catch a fat dose of 'wakethe****up' I would be a very happy crazy person.

Are you a pregnant homosexual teen with a drug problem? :p

Sorry, couldn't resist. Maybe if you explain why you feel this way today, we might be able to help?

/me points to comfy chair

We awake, we dont have to approve of things and make them the norm... just because its growing. They want us to do these things, next thing youll know is everyones on drugs, getting pregnant and gay....(if that makes any sense).

Why wait till its to late?
Stupid thread!
.KICK!

JK8, I'm not advocating any of those things and I'm not saying they are wrong either. I merely used them as examples. What I was trying to express is my distaste towards people who feel they have the right to judge other people, when they themselves are also not perfect. Your reaction seems typical of those that cannot accept the faults of others.

Perhaps you shouldnt be so quick to make assumptions.

The corollary to your statement is that no one should be allowed to judge because no one is perfect. Yet if no one judged, if there werent the conservatives to balance out the liberals or the liberals to balance out the conservatives anf the liberals judging the conservatives as much as the conservatives judge the liberals.....then it would be chaos.

People have every right to judge whatever they want. How you let it affect you or not, as the case may be is under your control.

It's the 3rd, so I'm guessing it's PMS :D

/runs far away

Thats not how it works Merc. I thought ghei guys had plenty female friends?

Oops, did I just judge in this thread? Woe is me. I reserve my right to judge anyone I want - and they have every right to judge me too...

GUILTY! *looking for some rope, and a tree* :p

What do you mean get over it:confused:
its just wrong, none of that is acceptable and just not on:eek:
when a society gets used to this type of stuff and sees it as normal its down hill from there

This could be a great defence for lawyers to try:

"My client may have murdered a man judge, but you're not perfect either"

What do you mean when, it’s done. We live in a country with the most liberal constitution in the world, that provides protection under the law for all of the groups the OP mentioned, including as stated murderers and sexual offenders, it seems the more you transgress the more rights there are to protect you.
