Quick Breakdown of how the Iranian government works. It's really, quite clever and one of the most resistant to change I have ever seen. How to set up a (theoretically) fully democratic government while ensuring that you current values are almost impossible to change.

In brief, all Iranians over 15 have the vote and elect The Parliament, The President, and the Assembly of Experts. The Assembly of Experts appoints the Supreme Leader. The Supreme Leader then appoints the Head of the Judiciary. The supreme Leader and the Head of the Judiciary appoint the Guardian Council, with Parliamentary approval. The Guardian Council has the power of veto over all laws as well as any candidate wishing to stand for election to parliament or the Assembly of Experts or as President.

Essentially the Guardian Council has a super Veto over anything they don't like, although they can make no law themsleves.

The Guaurdian Council rules Iran, the children of Ishmael. Where there is veto right bye-bye democracy, hello tyranny. In the same way the UN is a tyranny masked in democracy...

I seldom understand politics, economics, evolutionism, atheism, philosophy, science etc.

Do you think however that because I am unable to experience kindness I should reject the fact that kindness exist? Think about it....
 
Grab your Maps or Google Earth... Go search for Iran on the Map. Now look at the two major neighbors. To the East its Afghanistan and to the West it is Iraq... Now Let's think... didn't America in the last few years set up some heavy military bases in both those countries in the imaginary "war on terror"? lmao!! So it is very clear that the US had its sights on Iran for many years now... so don't be a fool and buy into the new propaganda they pomping out.

Iran did nothing to no one and to me seem to be perfectly fine without us invading it. And yes I said us and not US because South Africa is part of the problem, we take a backseat whilst America kills millions of innocent lives.

Iran did nothing to no one :eek:

What about woman and children stoned to death. People hanging from trees in town centers. How about U.S troops killed by Iranian supported and supplied militias. Ever heard of Hizbollah? They're killing Israelis and Lebonese all supported and supplied by Iran.

Okay let me address those facts of yours one-by-one:

1.) Yes like this never happened in the US. Do you remember burning crosses and the ruthless hanging of black people, just because they were black? If not, then you are a racist. Keep in mind no missiles were launched at the US when they were doing all this. And do you honestly think bombing the shlt out of Iran will help those people? I think instead it will kill them in massive numbers.

2.) See (1). To add, I also remember a period where Muslims were ruthlessly tortured in the US... wait a minute... that's still happening.

3.) First of all... how would you react when soldiers come running into your home or the homes of your neighbors and blasting the **** out of them. America Invaded Iraq... nothing more nothing less. INVADED! They went there without just cause and they KILLED INNOCENT PEOPLE! So what are you trying to say? ARE THESE PEOPLE NOT SUPPOSE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES!?! Their people are being killed, and don't give me crap about Iranians can't help out Iraqi's because these are neighboring states, their people are very intertwined, their economies depend on one another the are like brothers! Wouldn't you help you brother when he gets SHOT or his house gets BOMBED!?! If not then you are a Cold-hearted idiot.

When did kindness get brought into this?... We're discussing Iran and the way it is governed.

Alan, I personally think it's not the USA but rather individuals within the USA (and other countries) that are the driving force behind this; they have vested business interests. War is a very profitable venture. People usually use blanket statements and try blame the USA, when they can't point fingers at individuals. Try watch a documentary called Zeigist with an open mind.

Edit: The documentary covers the process of "divide and conquer". Something that you mentioned in your post.

The veto right clearly shows it is not a democracy right?
It is ruled by a guardian council, who will only agree to laws that suite their agenda, is that correct?!
Their agenda is to destroy Israel come what may and to cause a nuclear war with the USA. That is as clear as daylight, only a moron will miss that!

Here is my conclusion.

Iran is a country trying to survive on its own, by its religious and legal doctrine.

USA has an issue with that, because its not "democracy" as the USA knows it... and its an Islamic country, which GWB can't stand.
