Im in the process of finding that perfect ISP. Checking all their websites, offers and pricing isn't the hardest part. Reading all the user feedback from the different ISP threads makes it so much worse deciding who to go with.

It seems that everyone has issues with all the ISP's.....

Afrihost is the way to go. They base their service and relationship with customers on trust and shared values. :D

It may seem that way for a few reasons:
*People like complaining
*When things run well people tend to not say anything, but if something goes wrong they will pipe up quickly
*There will always be issues somewhere, this is the nature of a best effort service

My recommendation? Do some trials with ISPs that dont lock you to contracts, find which one works best for you. I'm with Afrihost at the moment. Crystal also seems to be doing quite well

I 2nd that @PsyWulf .I think this thread should be used for positive feedback as the providers aren't getting much of that.

I'm currently with Telkom and get full speed at all times,I used to be with WebAfrica in the past and was also quite happy with them also full speed 24/7 no throttling ever.

Lately I see people on Webafrica capped accounts are quite pleased with them.Afrihost capped used to be a favourite here also but for the past month many people are complaining.

Since you are in Cape Town perhaps avoid Vox for now.

Give WebAfrica and CrystalWeb a try I'd say :D
