Who will win the 2010 WC?

European teams don't win world cups in other continents except Europe...so expect the trend to continue. Brazil to take it

I hope the African teams could start that sort of trend. :o
 
i really don't see spain taking it IMHO, would love an african team to get it but ivory coast like mentioned above is in the toughest group by far !

maybe ghana or cameroon ? (hell maybe even SA anything can happen :) )

the smart money's on england though ...
 
England are a lot better than they were in 2006. Fabio Capello has definitely got them in the right direction and with their easy group, they could go very far.

But yeah loving all the Netherlands supporters. My fav team by far. Still get chills down my spine when I think back to their domination in the group stages of Euro 2008.

All those world cups have been in hot countries in summer time, the weather has effected the european teams badly. It will be winter this time, the SA winter weather will suit the european teams.
 
7 of the 18 editions have been held outside Europe and 3 of those in 'winter', especially Argentina 78 which was the coldest world cup in history. So we shall see if it happens in 2010.
 
I think it will not help England being in an easy group, they will get lazy and over confident like they did in the rugby world cup.

They have a good team this time round, but my money is on Spain or Germany.
 
Spain. Because thats what the bookies say. ;) England 2nd. (And no I don't bet)
 
Would be great if it were a final without Brazil and Italy.
