Why Apple should buy Netflix

TBH it makes much more sense for either Google or Microsoft to buy Netflix. Microsoft seriously needs a boost in the streaming content space; Google will easily fold it into its current steaming services offerings and, hopefully, make Netflix even more accessible than it already is (as long as they don't fold it in under YouTube Red).

This is better than Apple. Apple will not like something and then just drop it from the line-up. Where Google will at least see it from the customers perspective.
On second thought, Google is also not a good idea, their main income is from ads. I don't want ads in Netflix.

Microsoft folds too easily on things which they do for consumers, and then later realise that keeping it going is too much work/hassle/labour for them to take on. I don't think a streaming service will be in their best interest, because in all likelihood they'll stuff it up and will have little to show for it at the end of the day. (See: Games for Windows Live, Zune, Outlook Premium, the Nokia acquisition, Windows Mobile, Groove Music, Movies & TV app, etc.)

Information, rather than advertising. Netflix is almost certainly selling off the info of their subscribers based on what they're watching, but Google can charge much more for the same information if they bought Netflix.

Yes exactly I don't see Netflix fitting into their corporate model, if Apple takes over Netflix it will lose over 60% of it's customer base globally because Apple will make it exclusive to iOS,

Why would they make it exclusive. They allow there Apple Music platform on Android?

Thats a terrible idea screw apple. This argument basically equates to the following. Evil monopoly should buy up company A then B........ it will increase their share price ...... X and Y and Z. Now they own every single company in the world and have changed their name to evil umbrilla skynet corporation and all originality in the world has been consumed and conformed into one.

Yeah great idea.............. not so much.
