BlackBerry isn't cool, it's a great communication tool.
Before you turn me into charcoal, I have 3-4 phones, only 3 in daily use. (Note3 / G4 (can't make up my mind), iPhone 6s and BlackBerry Classic), so I cover all the OS's and when thinking about a phone as a tool to communicate, BB win every time!

Horses for courses I guess. I want one device to do everything, not many things. That's why I don't have a standalone gps, or fitness (garmin or whatever) tracker, or music thingy. One phone Note3, and blootooth hrm strap does it all for me.
I had a BB once, was issued it by VB when I worked there, it sadly couldn't do many things.

For the record. Blackberry was never "cool"
Um.. I tend to disagree. I had a Blackberry 1 in 2003 / 2004, and it was the coolest thing EVER. I even had that solid pouch that clipped into your belt, so you have access to the phone quickly. Still miss it - nowadays I have to carry my phone everywhere and find pockets for it. It was the first "smart" device, and you had access to your email on the go. It really was groundbreaking in the early 2000's.
Unfortunately, I found iPhone around 2007, and Blackberry died in my eyes.
My BB was a workhorse. It took care of emails and other communication tasks brilliantly. I could comfortably create documents, presentations and spreadsheets on my baby. Unfortunately when it was time to play, it didn't have much to offer. We had Java games in BB App World while Android and iOS had Gameboy quality graphics. We didn't have the Nike run App or Adidas myCoach. No Instagram or YouTube app. Google made us a watered down version of Maps. It didn't have turn by turn navigation and the route planner didn't work as well as the website (BB Maps was as rubbish as Apple Maps). My Bold was an excellent business tool and that's where things ended. I wanted my phone to do more!
I now use several Android devices. I like the Z30 and will purchase one next year, just to experience BB10.
