Why do people hate Blackberry Users?

I would too if I had an Android phone still running Eclair!

But my Desire HD is awesome, it's a huge display powerhouse that multitasks like a dream (whatsapp, messaging, twitter, the whole works run at the same time with no sweat)....as "toy phone" I use an iPhone 3G.

With whatsapp the BBM magic has been neutralized, so don't see myself getting a small screen & slow CPU phone.

Hmm, no I have Darky's JPY ROM on mine. I really like playing with my SGS and flash it almost always when a new ROM comes out. It is just when replying on a email and speaking to people on gchat and whatsapp, I like to type on a keyboard rather than the touchscreen. I also prefer the BB as my communication device because of the push technology - I don't have to set the stuff to sync every 30 minutes (which I still feel is way to long to wait for a message via email).

But when it comes down to it, it all comes down to personal preference. I don't even really use BBM so that doesn't factor into my decisions. I also noticed that with my bb there my SGS last more than 4 days on its battery, otherwise I just gets half a day on it - should give you an indication on how intensively I use my phone. Maybe there is a android with a keybord that would suite me quite well, but for day to day use - I think my BB is better suited for my life/work (those two can't really be separated) style. And it is really nice not to worry about too big a bill at the end of the month.

And 4cer, yes, my SGS is far superior to my BB in almost all departments, but where the BB are superior than the other phones are important to the target market that blackberry is targeting. And ask yourself, why do you have a phone - isn't it to communicate? I only used my SGS 5MP camera this weekend for the first time, really nice to have on a phone, but I would have gotten by without it and I don't really watch movies on my SGS anymore because my 500Meg only last that long which negates the vastly superior screen a bit. I sometimes download the clips with the blackberry and transfer it via my pc, but the youtube clips resolution isn't high enough to match the SGS screen, so I must have movies etc on it to enjoy it to the full extent - which I think it is a waste, why would you watch a movie on your phone if you have a big flat screen tv at home (Assuming you bought the phone for yourself you can and would buy a good tv)? I don't do public transport (to have time to kill for such large periods of time) to watch such big clips anyway.

It all come down to do you really need it? Maybe you do, but some people can live without all of that.

To each there own, this battling of which phone is the best or which OS is the best is really subjective. It should be, which phone is the best for you.
