Why do people hate Blackberry Users?

1st off I don't hate them (have encountered very few) and 2nd never had a BB myself.

why do people hate BB users? I can understand why people hate iPhone users (the smug mofos they are...) but lately I have been seeing alot of hate towards BB users.. why?

We're being forced into BB upgrades. Must say never disliked the people, but struggling to like the phones...

Probably the same reason lots of people dislike BMW drivers/owners.
 
I don't dislike BB Users....

I just dispise BlackBerries because they mean I'd be contactable at all bloody hours, and a cellphone is bad enough.
 
i love my blackberry. what i hate what some users do is if they are in actuall company and instead of taking part in the "real" conversation they are busy typing away on the fabolaaaas qwerty keypad like a crazy person foaming at the mouth. that irritates me.
 
I hate the fact that blackberry messenger does not integrate with other phones...

thats what makes me dislike the brand - is that try monopolise the industry

Yeah seems every 2nd facebook status nowadays is "BBM: xxxxxx :)" :/ I don't see the hype about them and I will probably never have one.
 
I think people hate BB users because BB users are forever telling them how BB's work so well and they should try one. I think that can be irritating sometimes.

I think that most BB users come from Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, HTC (Win mobile) and the fact is that the BB does everything that the latter phones lacked. Like a real email client. I real real real one I can't stress that enough. Instant messaging applications that you can have permanently in the background without draining your battery. Real real multi tasking capability. BB Messenger that completely replaces evil SMSes and costs jack.

Oops, I guess I am being irritating now :/

oh no....are u haunted by the green eyed monster?? :-)

BBM might be for blackberry only, but we have access to MSN, google talk, yahoo messenger and i think mxit also works, so its not like u cant communicate with us just because our phones are better than ures. :-)
 
I had nothing against them (well, still have anything against most of them), but I work with somebody who just never shuts up about their Blackberry. And it's bad - for example - my team will be having a serious work discussion and they'll interrupt us mid-sentence to tell us about their phone or they'll be getting msgs/notifications all the time and then they'll have no recollection of our discussion later. Yes, I know it's the person, not the phone, but so far - the only phone I've ever wanted to grab out of somebody's hand and throw against the wall is a Blackberry. :(:D
 
I dont hate or have anything against them. I mostly have a WTF moment when I see someone bought them a BB. Theres so much better available out there, then they go and get that ****..

Agree. It really annoys me that they refuse to use a widely available IM program on their Blackberry (even though many are available) and then show off their BBM PIN like a status symbol. So all their annoying BB friends can chat to them for free while the rest of us either have to ignore them or pay to SMS/call them :mad:

Sure many of them use MXit as well, but it's not good enough to be left on 24/7. Too unreliable and crappy, most people with it don't use it very often anyway.
