WHY DO WE KEEP DIGGING THEN??

Eks, if you promise to behave, I can put a good word in by rpm to unban you. You also need to promise to use your regular nick and to stop creating clone accounts!
 
We keep digging because not knowing the truth can also be dangerous or harmful. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Rather you need to find a means to come to terms with them.

For example I have a worldview or philosophy I can fall back on every time I need to understand why things are the way they are.

A girl once kept pushing me for answers until I opened up about the info she wanted and it broke our relationship. I could no longer be dishonest with her. In the end it was a good thing that she did despite it coming back to haunt me because I deserved no better.

I would rather find a way to come to terms with them as early as possible and move on, rather than allowing them to hurt or come back later. Because ultimately many, if not all, people have a secret. The world is not perfect and neither should your expectations of it be.
 
A better question might be: WHY DO WE KEEP CREATING CLONE ACCOUNTS WHEN WE KNOW WE AREN'T FOOLING ANYONE AND WILL SOON GET BANNED AGAIN THEN??

Maybe I shouldn't say anything so early as it is really fun for me that you think I am a clone, but really, I am not.

One of those moments in life I chose very poorly. But it was many years back.

I am in a very good relationship now :) 2 years.

Honesty is the best policy. When you are with someone you care about they deserve to know everything, well everything relevant to your relationship, if you killed baby kittens when you where young, obviously information like this can hurt you and your relationship with someone, but it has no relevance to your current situation, so why tell them?
So if you can give us more information about your situation i can probably give you a better answer.

I've never met a man who secretly read his girlfriends emails cause he thought she might be cheating, or peeked in her diary.
And, of course, male stalkers also don't exist.

Hey Lament

It is not I that has something secretive to share. I was in a previous relationship where I got extremely hurt. Once trust is broken, it is difficult to believe that the next person isn't the last person. Not having a lot of knowledge about men doesn't help either. You want to trust, but you are scared, so you try to gain as much knowledge as possible to avoid getting hurt again. Maybe if you know exactly WHAT you are dealing with you will know HOW to deal with it. But you don't always like what you find out. I guess it is deciding what you can live with and what not. It is a problem when you are extremely attached to the person though.

I do know how it feels, i was also in a long relationship and got hurt very bad, its 15 months later and i still struggle to trust anyone.
But you can't "straf" the new person in your life for your previous boyfriends mistakes, but i do know its difficult, you want to trust this person with your whole heart, but so scared if you do, history will repeat itself. The whole problem is, if you don't trust someone, and that person has done absolutely nothing wrong, you are pushing them away indirectly, my advice would be, tell the person in your life your situation, tell them you are scared to get hurt and have trust issues, if they love you they wont mind and will play open cards with you, once you see this person has nothing to hide, you will start trusting them.
