I don't play this game and don't know what you're talking about (lol) but if it's a once-off thing why not use a proxy to do it?

Unfortunately it doesnt work like that, you need to log into your account before you can access the page, if you gave them a south african adress when you registred the account thats how they pick it up, basicly you need to lie to them at the start and give them a UK adress and all will be fine.

This is odd, I used a Ressurection Scroll to re-invite a friend to WoW a few months ago, both of us SAffers, with SA credit cards etc.
Obviously things have changed since then, but it's really odd they've not given you an answer.

Credit cards work fine, game cards do not.
