When you dial up a 3g connection without voda software in windows 7 it takes nearly 2 minutes for the connection to be active. Is this normal:confused:

I can only give you an answer to that after tonight. I got Windows 7 installed at home but haven't had the time to install Vodafone Software on it.

I'll try it with and without the Vodafone Software.

I know there was a thing with Windows Vista where when you created a new dial-up connection, and connect for the first time, the Dialog Box with "Authenticated"(or was it the "Registering your computer on the network" ?) stays on the screen for about a minute or so, but at that point you were already connected.

i am running 64 bit.It takes just about a minute to connect without software.I find it strange that my vista does it to but xp its very fast.

Just tested using Windows 7 64bit, connected in about 10 seconds without software.
