Why DStv cannot offer individual channels

You've already been given. Then there are other public options for specific events.
OH Ok so shooting more blanks. Or you also talking about a little service that shows world cup games to countries that does not play rugby? Jeez we trying to argue like adults. We discussing DSTV offerings and prices. Not some special free package trying to broaden horizons.
Rugby pass is owned by World rugby and they can shut it down anytime they think it may hamper their income from broadcasting rights. So yeah spin another one.

Nice try in trying to shift the goalposts. You originally wanted to know how someone can watch rugby without paying for the full Dstv package. You were shown how it can be done for cheaper. Just move on please as the irony is starting to get painful.

MC will seriously have to think about unbundling SS from their DSTV offering.
If a price could be set for PL, surely it can be done with other sporting codes?

840 odd words to tell us that they are rigid, inflexible and hell-bent on destruction. Nicely done!

No you making up stuff. We are discussing DSTV and people saying they want single sport packages and I ask for links to single sport packages..
F1tv is not a single sport package. It is just one championship of one category of motorsport.
Rugby pass is not a legal option first of all. Second it only show World cup games, some women's and sevens rugby. It is not a single sport subscription, it is a free carrot for non rugby nations to broaden the game.
So yes I will not entertain any of this stupid arguments, because you all know you have nothing. Next you going to claim SABC because they showed 2 WC games and one Bok vs AB game.

It is one sport.

Irrelevant. Everything is available in some form or other. Your point was that single sports can't exist on their own which is nonsense. Whether we can access it legally doesn't matter as the only reason we can't is because MC keeps hanging on to this outdated all you can eat model.

You have no real argument as always.

OMG here we go again. In one of my first post I said forget about DSTV and SA, show us the single sport packages available all over the world that was deemed viable. Yet here we are, completing the full circle of nothingness.

You've been shown multiple single sport packages. But you and your dinosaurs can't get past your outdated model.

Please stop talking BS. Netflix have nothing to do with DSTV. DSTV have cheap non sport packages. Nobody ever complained about DSTV cheap packages.
You all complain because you want to watch sport for cheap. Nothing to do with movies or series.
Show us a Netflix or similar with similar price that provide proper live sport that we want to watch in SA, otherwise leave the stupid Netflix argument out.
Actually I am complaining about the cheap packages. Access is not worth it even for R109 per month unless you live somewhere with no fibre or reliable LTE. Even then, Openview is a much better idea as you get more than Access for a once off payment.

I don't watch sport at all. There are 17 channels that might have something on for me Mostly there might be one programme on most channels I might watch and on about 4 channels about 5 programmes each I might watch. It's difficult for me to find things to watch and to access the channels that might have something for me, I need to have the Compact Plus option of R619 per month.

This means I'm paying a lot of money for things I will never watch and for when I'm asleep. There also seems to be a lot of paranormal, pseudoscience, survival, cooking, eating, scrapyard, restoration, "reality", ghost, UFO and socialising programmes on once good documentary channels. Wildlife channels now mainly consist of claws, fangs and poison.

I can't see why DSTV can't let me pay per view on pragrammes I choose on an App.

Why do you need the Compact Plus option?
