Money spent on the shops is like flushing it down the toilet.

Fortunately evolution, like gravity, doesn't require you or anyone to believe in it, unlike religion.

Macro evolution requires believing in theories that scientists are punting regarding one species magically morphing into another.
You can choose to believe that you came from some primordial soup but I personally don't believe in that theory.

From Wikipedia:

A common misconception is that scientific theories are rudimentary ideas that will eventually graduate into scientific laws when enough data and evidence have been accumulated. A theory does not change into a scientific law with the accumulation of new or better evidence. A theory will always remain a theory; a law will always remain a law. A theory is valid as long as there is no evidence to dispute it. Therefore, theories can be disproven.

Theories and laws are also distinct from hypotheses. Unlike hypotheses, theories and laws may be simply referred to as scientific fact.

there the public face of etolls, and it was bound to happen....

just hope they trying to save face and hide this shameful system.
Celebrating victory?
I think this is a true statement:
However, the South African National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) told MyBroadband that the closures are part of the planned evolution of the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project.
They want e-Tags to become compulsory, so you will get it when licencing your vehicle.

<snip>Unlike hypotheses, theories and laws may be simply referred to as scientific fact.

Getting even more OT now but I don't get that last sentence.
I don't understand how a theory can be referred to as a scientific fact if there is the possibility that it can be disproven in future.
