Airtime used to expire as well after a month and then that was stopped and now airtime has no expiry date.

Should it not be the same with data?
Why is data only good for a month (apart from cell companies trying to fleece the customer of course...)?

Surely some governing body should put a stop to this as well?

Something about them needing to plan ahead for the month with the bandwidth they buy

Move on over to Megsapp https://megsapp.com/ and vote with your wallet...

Just be glad your ESKOM units do not expire on the last day of the month. Not yet at least

That body is ICASA, and they promised to do so, but they were "convinced" not to.

EDIT - there are newer draft regulations which do allow for data rollover - https://mybroadband.co.za/news/cell...-south-africa-bundles-must-last-6-months.html
