why is my cap usage so high

hi i have a slight problem. myself and my girlfriend have gotten a 3 gig cap..

and we pvp/ quest and do 10 mn content twice a week and by the 9th or 10th of the month we are capped

then we sit for the rest of the month doing nothing

please help!
 
thats just the way it is. 3 Gigs just isnt enough anymore. The amount of bandwidth on applications goes up, cap size stays the same.
 
get netlimiter pro, will help you find where the problem is. also if you are not using your pc, make sure you turn it off. auto updates can suck bandwidth, especially if they get stuck in a redownload error loop.
 
ive done all of the above..... but its getting retarted.. i used to play wow and brows on 1 gig cap till the 20th of the month

now 3 gig is done in one week.. WTB first world quality internet
 
did u guys know.. that america also has cap now.. for a 10bps line its 190 gig cap

for us 1mbps 3 gig cap .. and we pay 800x more than them
 
ye some of my european friends asked me to do a speedtest last night. Guild chat was boring and they needed a giggle
 
HAHA yeh dont worry ... my guildies ask me if my isp towers runs on batteries due to their limited speed
 
ugh tbh, i could deal with the crappy speed if it was just more reliable. but it isnt so meh.
 
So are u genuinely using the cap, or are ther hidden apps accessing your bandwidth? But I totaly agree with 3gig being too little these days. Just check out the size of the latest patch for COD WaW - 980mb for v1.5... eeish third of your cap gone on one update!
 
yeh its hectic.. ive looked .. its weird on netlimiter it shows me using about 1.8 gig and 400 meg uploaded = 2200 meg leaves me with 800... and that just dissapeared... 3rd month now

i even topped up this month.. and bam, 2 days later 1 gig gone.. and it said i used 400 download and 100 upload

dont know if iburst is having a money scam or something but its retarted

dont care about speed aslong as i can dl at 30kbps or more and its reliable but i cant throttle. = back to stone ages = 5kbps download if im lucky

cant iburst just half ure speed when ure throttled

or how about just making a uncapped package without charging 10 thousand rand a month
 
cant say that i use my iBurst for gaming at all, so not sure of the overheads / usage. I lan via my wireless with my family. My internet reception quality sux where i live now :(
 
Blizzard ( biggest game company in the world) needs you to require a stable internet connection to play Starcraft2 and diablo 3 ( the two most anticipated games
) even to play single player and guess what to play multiplayer.. minimum specs = 1mbps connection ( im guessing 3 gig cap is gone in one day then )

so all s.a gamers can say goodbye to SC2 and Diablo3 :D stick to dota for the rest of our lives,.. ..-_- and warcraft 3
 
I f...... hate online DRM cr@p. I swear after steam came out I thought I would do my nut.... Now all these games are coming out with no "offline" gameplay. Eish, neoflex really starting to look betta and betta (DONT DO TELSKUM)
 
haha yeh im telling u.. unless iburst matches neotel uncapped and pricewise ... i will move when my contract ends]
