Why is needed a 3GB cap or any cap?

Well i guess that Iburst before introducing and activating their Cap system were much better in any point of view...Most of the people or i can say everyone was saying good things about the connection that they are getting almost 1mbps....But now how they started with their CAP everything seems to gone the other way...Everyone is complaining about the service,slow speed,help-desk i mean everything...So one simple question why the hell did they put that crappy cap....If they think they will make more profits well i guess they are just so wrong....No more costumers will go for them and those costumers which are already users will just cancel their contracts and here we go WBS will bankrupt BIG TIME!!!!
Anyone think that this makes sence?or not?

It's the way business goes, get everyone hooked with NO CAP, NO PORT SHAPPING , download at true 1 meg speeds, 128 kb/s now Im not even reach those speeds , I'lm lucky if I reach 20 kb/s. I've been hearing from PPL, PTA, CPT, DBN have better speeds. etc,

Then 15 days b4 launch they put PORT SHAPPING ETC, To me its our bandwidth we can do what we like with our 3 gig once we Reach our 3 GIG, we go onto throttle service.

I suppose the CAP (once everything is working again) is more to controll an uncontrolled spree of game/movie/mp3/etc download frenzy.

This way they know 'we' will be carefull on not using up everything in one go, leaving more shared bandwidth for everyone. And for those of us that do use up everything in 2 days etc, the cap will leave some BW for the rest.

Why CAP is needed so ISP make a PROFIT, if there is NO CAP then ISP will loose loads of money.

From what my provider told me, before the launch the iBursters were chewing more bandwidth than the whole of mweb. iBurst ran at significant loss hence the desperate attempt at shaping before the cap. Let's hope the ICASA story bodes well and iBurst can buy bandwidth at a non-idiotic rate from hellkom. In the mean time the grreat interiBurst connectivity and speeds will scratch that bandwidth itch.
