Managed to get a fix for the fullscreen problem of Fallout 4 over at Reddit -> https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3s4xhx/fullscreen_problem/. Seems my laptop is quite capable of running the game, but the SSD would help it run even better though.
