Pretty much, I have algorithms for everything.

Sometimes they work, sometimes they spectacularly fail.

Whoa now see you just can't do this with humour, or human interaction in general. Humour is the most mysterious and intuitive aspect of social dialogue. If you try to 'get it' with algorithms that 'should have worked', you'll end up crossing an uncanny valley where people can just tell that you're trying too hard. It's a lot about delivery - a bad joke can seem funny if it's delivered by someone with good comic sense. A good joke can hit the ground like a dead weight if the timing is off.

Look, take it or don't take it but your friends might be quite happy to accept that you just don't have a discernible trace of humour.

Enlighten me! explain to me funnies!

Timing.

Either that or you're just that guy everyone tolerates because they think that he's friends with someone else in the group but in fact none of them really like you, so they don't find anything you say funny, even if it would be funny when seen objectively.

Oh, and, objectively, none of what you did there was all that funny.

Some people have a slightly different sense of humour. I have a buddy who has a very unique sense of humour, and no one ever laughs at his jokes but him... but in regards to each situation you presented:

Scenario A: Probably took it a bit too far. Also your buddy probably wasn't happy with you saying he was a girl at some point.

Scenario B: I would find this funny for a bit, but again, you might have just flogged a dead horse

Scenario C: I would have probably laughed at C. I am wondering why one of your mates is actually wondering about the size of your junk and why he wants proof :/

How conservative are the people involved? There are some people who I never say certain things in front of because I know they're conservative/religious so they won't take it well.

Also had a similar situation this weekend regarding a joke and awkwardness this weekend. Was with some friends talking about Cards against Humanity. All of who have played it know the game is super offensive, but some of the other people don't. One of my friends brought up the fact that one of the cards has something to do with Corrective Rape. Those of us who knew the game was about pushing boundaries didn't get offended, but those in the group who didn't didn't want to hear anything more about it. He tried to make a joke about it later and it ended with awkward looks from some people.

in A, my 'buddy' implies that I am also A's father, implying that I am in a homosexual relationship with him, thus I saw calling him the mother of my child as fair game

B, I think it went on for too long. mybad
C, well derp

Not conservative at all, all of my jokes were on par with the level of 'non conservative'

Jesus H. Christ. How the hell did they find the first one funny even before the reveal of the mother?

Because that's how we joke around.
Last time I was the grandfather offering hubbly and mary jane advice to my 'grandkids'
maybe funny isn't your thing ....
maybe. I'm often told things only make sense in my head
