Have tried to use Edge, even on newer builds of Windows 10. It shows promise, but is crippled compared to Chrome and far from a mature browsing experience.

I don't understand the comments here. Microsoft did not say Edge is better than Chrome or Firefox. Just that Edge is more efficient in their tests.

My reference is my own experience with MS Edge 13. About 3 x faster than Chrome, and maybe even more with IE 11

The current version does not support any add-ons and extensions which we are supposed to get with the anniversary release.

Generally, I am completely happy with MS Edge 13 and use it now exclusively, with IE 11 there when required for some websites, and chrome as a back up.
