Why Microsoft Edge is better than Chrome and Firefox

... guess Edge is not better on a desktop system then if that's the sole advantage Microsoft can come up with

Edge is also so devoid of features it is like a barren desert.

Start adding in all the extensions like Chrome and others have and boom - there goes your power saving MS.

Have tried to use Edge, even on newer builds of Windows 10. It shows promise, but is crippled compared to Chrome and far from a mature browsing experience.

I agree...recently uninstalled chrome and firefox.

*hides*

No need, we will assimilate all these doubters so we will overcome all opposition. :D

They are talking about the new anniversary release at the end of July 2016

Moving along where to?

My reference is my own experience with MS Edge 13. About 3 x faster than Chrome, and maybe even more with IE 11

The current version does not support any add-ons and extensions which we are supposed to get with the anniversary release.

Generally, I am completely happy with MS Edge 13 and use it now exclusively, with IE 11 there when required for some websites, and chrome as a back up.

MS just proves with this how useless they are.
I could not care less about their power consumption. I like stuff that works well.

And you entirely miss the point of this...

This is actually bloody useful information, and very critical to some people.

Agree... Very critical IF you spend plenty of time far away from a power charging point.
