The advert stated he was the first African which was false as other Africans (white settlers) have ascended the mountain before him. They used the term 'African' to subtly imply 'black person'.

If I were or had been a customer of theirs, that would have been more than enough to lose my business. It's disgraceful.

As for the subject at hand, quite frankly, it's nothing more than a massive inferiority complex.

I would never generalize and imply that every Black person has it, but those who subscribe the notion of "The First Black..." or "The First African..." are undeniably victims of one. That is the crux of the matter, it is my opinion and I am resolute in my opinion.
