Why do we not have a rugby channel in SA? We have 2 24/7 football channels, sometimes 3.
SS 1 shows most of the rugby but shares it with golf and other sports.
When i was in NZ in 2006 they already had a rugby channel. Only showing rugby.
There are more than enough rugby going around to make a full 24/7 rugby channel on DSTV.
We pay almost R800 p/m for what? The following rugby can make for 365 days of rugby content.
Super rugby, rugby championship, Currie Cup, Vodacom cup, Varsity cup, World cup, French top 14, European rugby championship, Pro 12, English premiership, Japan comp. The local rugby in NZ and AUS and 7's. Add to that a few rugby shows.
