So yea, people in PE need to watch out for "Sol 1 EC" in his Mazda 3.. apparently he lives under the delusion that he's the sole one driving the roads..

Saw him on Heugh Road today, coming up in the mirror passing cars like mad, then he decided it was a good idea to pass quite a lengthy line of cars just before the Walmer driving range.. As he was passing me, I saw a car pulling into the oncoming lane from a side junction and I thought "uh oh", but somehow our friend Sol managed to fit in between him and the car in front of us that he was passing.. Luckily for him the guy in front of us went off the road or it might have been tickets for Mr Sol ..

Anyway, so that's why you should not have a custom plate and drive like an idiot at the same time, cos someone will see you and post about it on the net.. :p :D

Would be cool to have a thread where we can post pics or just the spelling of vainty plates we've seen.

There's a BMW X5 in my area with "2 Young" on the plates. Driven by a 50 something year old. There's also a Merc A-class with a plate that is something like "BMW X5".

My personal fav are the ones that say "Kelvin" or "Brian" ... or "4U2NV" ...etc

P.S. sorry the dates are all mucked up

The Taxman just loves custom plates. Easy to remember when he's driving his/her Tazz behind an expensive bit of metal and even easier to tap the number into his computer at work to see if the owner's affairs are all in order.
