Why SA rates can't be cut

:)

Commute is a fantastic opportunity for car sales. Contributing from home or local is the way to go.

That turning a profit musical chairs thing, is quite ironic: sell properties you don’t need to move up the price tag so someone can’t afford it, so you can buy a similar property that has been inflated by someone else until you lose your job or the economy fails. All in the name of churning profit and generating well deserved interest for banks while they buy our repossessed houses cash.

Whatever floats your boat.

Where people don't work from home they tend to find that has they gain experience they become more valuable and, hence, are paid more. Having more disposable income means that they are able to afford a 'better' house. There are many factors as to why people live where they do and want what they want. You motivation in life may well be to live in the same place until you die. It doesn't mean that everyone has to live that way.

Profit is also a good motivator - and without any motivation we can just pack it all in right now.

You have spoken about choice - nobody forces anyone to buy a house at a set price. If you can't afford it, don't buy it. It is that simple. You claimed that the proporety market it saturated - if that is true, then you'll have no problem whatsoever finding a house at the price you are prepared to pay.

And banks making a profit? If there was no profit their funding source would become very finite and the loans would dry up, and as we have already discussed, a lack of liquidity isn't the brightest idea in the world.

http://www.thevenusproject.com/ We should be packing up.

Exactly, but you’ll find you can’t finance it. You’ll have to beg your GOD (banks) to indulge you…

It actually is. It is the best thing that can ever happen. It would actually mean…wait for it….You actually buy a property. Not lease, rent or loan with debt and interest.

The nice thing about this economic crisis is we have the actually property and the banks just have funny money.

I have no sympathy...
