Italian soccer has NOT gone back.Just that other leagues have got stronger.The EPL has been strengthend due to the massive amounts of money from Sky in the middle 90s

He lost.. the EPL is tops and serie A a *yawn*. The EPL strengtened by the cash received from SKY SPORTS!

Please UBERCAL study the pattern I have clearly shown that have developed over the last 8 years and admit serie A is in trouble...

Actually from Statistics on polls done in china in the last 3 years Inter has been the top supported side in china while Milan has been number 3.
In China serie a is as popular as the epl. In the rest of the far east epl is top especially in the former British colonies. While in the middle east Serie a again is very popular.

What I said is based on this poll which I have seen for the last 5 years also based on what chinese inter fans have said on the inter forum I visit.

Inter retain top spot after last year's Internet poll carried out by the Chinese sports media's big three: Titan, CCTV5 and Sina.com.
This time, however, the survey was conducted via sms, with one vote allowed per telephone number to avoid the possibility of multiple votes per fan distorting the outcome.
The results of the poll are published in today's Titan Sports Daily as part of a feature article which includes an-depth analysis of Inter's fans in China thanks to the 4693 poll participants who also sent emails with replies to other questions about their support for the Nerazzurri.
"Many fans love Inter because of Massimo Moratti. They admire his spirit," reveals Titan's vice chief editor Luo Ming. "Inter's name and its worldwide significance is another reason. The club also has very good communication with its Chinese fans and this is an important aspect."
"Many began supporting Inter when Ronaldo started playing for them, but they didn't abandon the club after he transferred to Madrid. They decided to remain loyal to Inter and their support has become stronger over time."

this is exactly what i was thinking the other day. they overplayed their game against Man United and hence they were so drained out at Arsenal.
And in doing so the hammers gave the gunners 3 points on a plate, but well Manchester supporters can live with things like that...

The football statisticians have already named Juventus’ Gigi Buffon as the top goalkeeper and rated each tactician through numerical analysis.
Champions League and Club World Cup winner Ancelotti finished a distance ahead of second-placed Sir Alex Ferguson with Inter’s Roberto Mancini languishing in eighth.
England manager Fabio Capello was rated 11th, despite delivering the La Liga title for Real Madrid and Roma’s Luciano Spalletti finished in 15th.
