WHY Serie A is better then EPL

if you don't watch soccer for the entertainment then you shouldn't watch it at all. who wants to sit and watch a game of chess?

Winning trophies is the reason football is played...
The world cup winning Italian squad, with the exception of Canavaro, Toni, Zambrotta and Grosso all play in Serie A. What I find interesting though is that not even one of these players play in the EPL. They seem to prefer La Liga and Bundesliga over the EPL. The EPL hardly has big name players rather because of the exposure it gets (all over the world) players in the EPL become household names not because of their brilliance. The league is well marketed and is the most popular but that has nothing to do with the quality of football.

We derive our entertainment value differently. Some would rather see an avalanche of goals and some would prefer a tactical game where a lot of thoughts and counter thoughts go into the game plan.

I think it might have something to do with the quality of the footy. :rolleyes:

Surely it cannot just be marketing driven?

perhaps it also has something to do with the fact that modern football has its roots in England (over and above the marketing, commonwealth nations, etc)

In my opinion especially in serie A, and that is the reason serie A is a *yawn*... and the scoreline 1-0. AC Milan scores the first goal, then the players are so lazy to continue to play the game they leave it to the opposition to try and break them down.

Obviously as the scoreline suggest the opposition are to weak to crack the code, the game is a *yawn*... There is many ways to look at things you know... Us in the EPL we just can't stand the laziness of continental footie.
