cheers uber thanx for the stay, if you need anything we'll be in the premier league thread![]()
why don't we gather all the teams that made it to the semi's since 1992 and see from there how many teams are from each league?

You obviously don't watch soccer do you? Soccer is played by boys not girls...
everyone wants to play in the english premiership. what does that tell you?
Let's cut it off where the premier league came to the party....
Since 1998/9 EPL = 10 semi-finalists 2 champions, Serie A = 7 semi-finalists 2 champions, La liga = 11 semi-finalists 3 champions , Bundesliga = 4 semi-finalists 1 champion Other leagues = 4 semi-finalists 1 champion FC PORTO
"To most observers, Manchester United FC's UEFA Champions League win was the last act in the rehabilitation of English football following the Heysel stadium tragedy. The path to the quarter and semi-finals had been well trod by Sir Alex Ferguson's side after English clubs were readmitted to European competition in 1990. Yet it always seemed to end in disappointment and talk about the effects of the five-year ban."

The statistics is clearly not favouring UBERCAL, The EPL is the better league, better marketed and better presented to the public. La Liga therefor bows the knee in front of the EPL.
The English Premier League is the one and only reason I watch soccer....
Winning the champions league completed the rehabilitation of English Football after its 5 year ban from European competition...
The EPL is arguably the strongest league in europe...
Um well not everyone.Players like ***a , Messi , Ronaldinho , Robinho , etc dont want to go to the EPL.Ive certainly noticed a trend where the old superstarts ( + 30 ) like 2 end there playing career in england , and milk the money. The trend was started by Vialli and Fab Ravanelli back in 1996.And look at Sheva. They spent +30 million on a 30 yr old.
Does last time mean we actually got rid of you?Stop trying to twist the facts ...
Last time ..
1. Serie A is the strongest league
2. Then comes La Liga
3. The Bungalisa
4. EPL
EPL is like FIFA 2008 - very glossy , good marketing and but very little substance
Serie A is like Pro Evo 08 - doesnt try to glossy of things and hide the truth. Its selling point is its true and natural class.

No point having an discussion with a United fan.
I guess there is no point in discussing this much further then. Everyone can see it as they chose. It's a matter of preference really. Not like you can prove it one way or the other with facts or results.
