Why the iPhone 4S just wont work...

With the close release of the "iPhone 4s" coming out, its become quite obvious that the Apple fans have been let down with a release of an almost identical model to the original iPhone 4.

Rumors have been the internet speculating that the new iPhone model will only include a upgraded 8 megapixel and Apples new A5 Dual-Core processor, will it be enough to drive consumers towards the new model?

it doesn't make sense if you take a moment to think about the release date of the new "4s". Why is it so late compared to all the previous iPhone models? its not like Apple consumers had much to wait for. Do consumers want to be paying for a device that could be outdated by Apples new device as soon as next year?

The answer to that is no, The iPhone 4 is already a overall perfect design, why try to redesign perfection? Consumers were expecting a new out of the box design.

after all we have been waiting a long time, and this is all they have come up with?

when the device releases will you get it?
 
Consumers seemed quite happy to go through 3 iterations of the same model before the iPhone 4. This is no different assuming it is a 4s, something we don't know.

And no, I'm not getting the next iPhone because I am not a teenager.
 
Apple's Track record speaks for itself

Apple does not pay much attention to market or product speculation. Whatever new phone they release will be a success, as they have proven those negative analysts wrong in the past.

Record sales and customer satisfaction says it all.

I guarantee you that whatever new phone they do release will be full of surprises. Equally there will be disappointment that the phone does not have every feature known to man.

I for one cannot wait and i will most likely be buying one as iCloud and iMessage alone will be worth the upgrade.
 
I think the hype of the new model will all come down to OS5, that will be the focus point and not the hardware. It will be exactly like when they released the 3GS. Was enough to keep people happy but not worth upgrading.

I always said we wouldn't see the iPhone 5 quite as soon as everyone was anticipating. The iPhone 4 is still going strong, a 4S will keep it going for a bit longer until their is a completely new model released.
 
it just kind of irritates me that Apple has to drag out its completely new phones (Like iPhone 5) out with little time wasters such as the iPhone 3GS/4S - although who am I to argue with Apple and what they do... :D

Oh, right, you are reacting to RUMOURS. Like the iphone nano rumour (3months ago) or the iphone mega rumour (2 months ago), or the "both 4s and 5" rumour (one month ago) or the current "no real change, except maybe a faster processor" rumour.

Just relax and wait till 4 October and then we can talk about something concrete. This Apple rumour business is getting beyond ridiculous

No device is perfect. You mentioned yourself that the the 4S has an "upgraded" camera etc., that already implies its better. Maybe not by a lot, but it is.

They are late ? How do you know ? Do you have sight of Apple's release schedule ?

I disagree with this. Now don't quote me on this, but I have a feeling apple will release 2 iPhones. The iPhone 5 and possibly the iPhone 4S. I have a feeling that apple will drop the price of the 4S, making it a more affordable product to the market, this will be great as this means that more people will be able to afford an iPhone. While it may not have all the full capabilities/functionality of the higher-end iPhone 5, it will still draw a lot of attention to the peeps that want but cannot afford the iPhone.

Still doesnt make it late. What makes it late is if they make a public statement that the next iPhone will be released in June/July and then miss that date. I don't recall any such statements.
 
From what I hear the new iPhone 4s will be replacing the iPod touch devices and also come in 64 gig in that line it makes perfect sense to release it along the iPhone 5 as well.

Lower specs mainly aimed at the old Touch market.
