I probably did lay it on a bit thick, no offense intended.

While I do think pc is a superior platform for a number of reasons, it's not suited to what everyone wants. Gamers are a diverse bunch after all, I have nothing against console gamers personally, that's like being mad at someone who chooses fanta over coke.

It's called Steam, now go check if your psn connection is actually working or is down or hacked or whatever. (yes I know, I had a ps3 for 6 years)

Yeah is this guy stuck in the 90's.... Patches? GFX card updates?
Steam kinda updates and takes care of everything automatically in the background afaik... it does gfx updates and directx in the background, too.

Isn't it the console people that need to update their game once they install the disc, due to it actually being needed to ship > reach distributors > the store... and by the time it finally reaches you, you need to update?

Ah.. now I get why's he's stuck in the 90's... he still has to physically swap around discs every time he wants to play a game, whahahaha!

Physical discs are for peasants. I remember those things, they were great!
You had these little CD cleaning kits and everything almost like a VHS. Does anyone remember that? Man this takes me back.

I got a bluray player... haven't even used it once!

I like my "low graphics". Especially on my 120" FHD screen.
Sit at a desk for a marathon gaming session. Yuck.

That said, I am gong to build a steam box for my game room sometime so I can play some PC on the big screen, but controller. None of this mouse / KB k@k.

Reality is a pc will always pwn a console and you don't need much of a PC either. Just go look at some comparisons online where they compare cross platform titles. You'll see console games stuck at 30fps with sub par graphics compared to a PC running at 60fps plus with a midrange gpu. Let's not even talk about console game prices...

In that case its console owners who are The Master Race, since we own a console AND a pc.
 
Bought Witcher 2 the other day (not through steam). Installed. Crashes with error. Everything is updated.
Got on console. Worked first time.

As soon as I'm able to install my IDE's on a PS4 I can sell my PC's :D

Certainly feels like it. Perhaps when i finish school i will see a thread on Consoles without blurber from PC owners. They must be totally threatened by consoles to keep comparing sizes of their cards, RAM, Graphics, Steam and other unrelated (console) hardware. Its a console thread, on consoles. Not a PC thread on PC's. PC gamers just get over it already. BOLD type used for illustration purposes.
