Why there will be no war

So everyone saying I should catch a wake-up, please tell me if I'm wrong. Do you *really* think the comfortable middle-class will arm themselves and march to war?

I think you guys need the wake up.

We will sit on our asses and do nothing, because we are comfortable.
 
This must be the most drawn out start to a war in history. As long as I can remember, people have been saying that SA will go poop.
 
Well you may be sitting on your arse but not everybody is

I have seen the plans and they are pretty funky, the only reasons nothing seems to be happening yet is twofold

1. Some people are waiting for a leader before they will mobilise - stupid but even some right wingers are sheep
2. The long standing evacuation plans need to be ammended due to the 1000's of new members but it is being worked on

Also some of the more militant groups are struggling with doing background checks of new members since the numbers are so high

Once everything is in place the south african landscape will be changed

Go to a suidlander meeting in your area and contact your local kommando unit and ask them what is happening even visit boerevryheid website not that you will get the true news since that is only a recruiting place for various groups

Once the woman and children can be placed in safety will the different groups become one body and take action

Laugh if you must, believe or don't but things are happening in public and undercover

There are TWO sides. On the one side are people who are NOT comfortable. What are you going to do if they kick in your door? Say "sorry okes, I am comfortable - go off down the road, ktx" ?

Really people, think.


And this post is not taking sides regarding the war claims - just highlighting the stupidity of the "comfort" argument.

Who are the two fighting factions in this war btw? Because I think most educated people couldn't really give a toss about fighting a black vs white war. If war were to break out, I reckon it would be the nutjobs on either side of the lines having it out with each other. And I say let 'em do it - let them kill each other off so the rest of us can go on with our lives. Yes, I'm one of those who'll watch the war from my telly while it's going on outside...

To have a war you need an enemy. Who is the enemy here exactly?
You want to wage war against murderers and rapists? OK, but how do you identify them exactly?
You can't tell by looking, they don't wear an enemy uniform or anything so who exactly is going to go to war? Race war? I don't know anyone of any race interested in war. There are a small minority of whites and blacks who do, I know, but the majority of us are not interested in war. That's why there will be no war.

My argument is not necessarily that we're lazy or comfortable. I just don't understand who the fighting factions are. My best guess are extremists on either side, in which case it would amount to hardly a dent in the overall population. It could however lead to something a lot bigger with the likes of Malema punting his followers forward (probably to defend him while he shouts warcries), but I just do not see war breaking out. I think it's a case of hysteria...

And regarding the supposed plans of the boerebond - they've allegedly had these plans in place since pre-1994. The same threats have been made. The same allegations have been made.. Blah blah blah. I highly doubt that the murder of ET will spark any action under their racist asses...

TBH, I'm too busy trying to raise a family and provide for them. I don't think the nut cases worry too much about that. They probably see their loved ones as collateral.

Where the hell will they hide them where they will be totally undetectable.?

So, you advocate a return to the status quo. Business as usual of corruption, discrimination, crime, bla, bla instead of these (ugh!) extremists. If you keep your head in the sand you can avoid reality and raise your family in the knowledge that they have no future and will always be under threat of crime or worse (if they’re white).

The murder of ET may serve as a trigger – not because everyone wants to avenge a pretty nasty man, but just because they are sick of casual and brutal savagery for trivial reasons.

Huh? I'm not sure where you're reading this into my post, but you're getting the wrong end of the stick here. In no way am I justifying anything you've implied in this post. All I'm stating is that I do not see war being a reality in this country, and I am still perplexed as to who these two fighting factions are. I also don't see war as the solution to solving the points you mentioned.

BTW, if you read my posts in the other threads in CA, I think our government are pathetically useless. I on no way support them. Much the same as I don't support right wing opinions and plans...
 
I can't believe a mildly-retarded 1% or so of our population is making some people believe there's really a "war" about to happen. Guess what will really happen? Everything will carry on like it does every other day, maybe a hundred or so AWB fanatics will get mowed down by police if they're really stupid enough. And that I doubt will even happen.

We have serious problems to address and governments to change, but war is just a stupid idea coming from a few even stupider people.
 
We have too much to lose, BUT I did a few sums and worked out that based on the cost of living exceeding our yearly increases/income, we will reach a point in the near future where the cost of living in SA will be so high, that you won't have money left to pay your house installment.It is simple maths - cost of living increases by 20%, salary increase by 5%, Tax and interest rate increase by x% - bang, goodbye house and car. Then we have nothing to lose. You can actually do this very precisely in a spreadsheet.
