Why won't Mandela Speak Out?

I think we can all agree what a great man Nelson Mandela is, I have heard 2 first hand recollections of people who have met him, as well as all the stories we have heard.

But lately I must say I'm disappointed with Mandela, as the ANC use his name along with their lies and etc. and he stays quite. Surely he does not support what the ANC has become? How they act?

Who's to say Mandela is not utterly insensible with old age? It happens to the best of us.

The last time the man tried to step into a situation he was humiliated by the small-man-syndromed Mbeki at an ANC general council in Pta. Let the man try to retire in peace.
 
Okay fair enough, he is very old, I just thought a man of his caliber would not be able to stop himself speaking out about such things you know?
 
Isn't it obvious? The malema monkey will just say he has gone senile in his old age and his uneducated followers will believe him (just look at the absurd things he gets away with saying)

He's earned his retirement from all this political nonsense. I wonder if he even knows all the cr@p that the ANC does these days...
 
If he criticizes the ANC, they will bite back at him. Especially trololol Malema, he loves criticism, the more you throw at him the louder he gets. Mandela's done his time, he doesn't need that kind of hassle anymore, to get into pie flinging matches with people.

Mandela hasn't been his full self for a long time now. By all accounts that Zuma show of support was arranged by Mandla and the by-any-means-necessary two headed Zuma.
By you DigitalSoldier like to demonise Mandela and that's where you're going with this, I can quite see it. Your buddy Alan will probably be along shortly to pat you on the back and also claim a 'kidnapping':o
 
And according to Zuma, Mandela volunteered to go:

Speaking at the Khayelitsha stadium to about 12,000 people, Zuma said Mandela’s presence at the rally last week was an ANC issue and not a media issue.

“They like writing things that are not true. They claim to know Madiba better than the ANC. Who are they?”

The crowd cheered wildly at Zuma’s comments. During his speech, a portion of the crowd pointed at assembled journalists and booed.

Zuma’s comments followed a Sunday Times frontpage story which suggested that the ANC risked Mandela’s health so that he could attend the rally, where he endorsed the party. The newspaper detailed how the usual travel procedures followed for Mandela’s trips had not been followed.

In reference to the reports, which said that the Nelson Mandela Foundation had always been responsible for Mandela’s travel arrangements, but had not been involved in the planning for the trip to the Eastern Cape rally, Zuma said Mandela did not belong to the foundation but to the ANC.

He said he was raising the issue because he was “in pain” due to the reports.

He said Mandela had volunteered to attend the rally. Zuma said he had informed Mandela about a rally in Gauteng that he could attend, but that Mandela had informed him he wanted to attend a rally in the Eastern Cape.

lol, no I don't like to demonise Mandela. I know he did some great things, but he is also no demigod.
