Wi-Fi hotspot data prices slashed

This should be free. Why should anyone pay for bandwidth if they're already paying for accommodation, a meal, or wherever else you'd find these hotspots. Wifi should be a courtesy and a way to differentiate you from the rest of the competition, not a way to fleece your existing customers for more cash. The use is largely incidental when having a coffee etc. If there's concern about abuse, managing it via mac address shouldn't be too hard. It's disgusting.

Even if it's in the contract that you can't resell bandwidth, I'd love to see that one play out in a court. Once purchased, bandwidth is yours to consume as you please.

Exactly, it would be impossible for an ISP to police whether or not you were reselling your bandwidth in your own home short of sending in some undercover guests, which they do not have the resources for.

Still think WirelessG is a better deal seeing that you can use the same pre-paid credit for ADSL (even if it is only a backup ISP), 3G and WiFi. They also have better international roaming partners, the likes of Boingo, etc.
