WiFi Connection Problems on MacBook Air

I have a WiFi setup at home which I am getting via Connectify from a Windows laptop connected to my college WiFi network. Currently all my gadgets connected to that WiFi including an iPhone and an iPad Mini are getting internet access but the Macbook Air shows connection but when I try to open a page or an application which requires internet access it doesnt work. Normally Connectify configures itself automatically and I havent changed any settings on the machine. What could be the likely problem?

so is it connecting to the wireless network, but not going on to connect to internet ?

if this is the case, it sounds like an ip related issue.
