Is that by not using a LAN cable as I am using my neighbors WiFi and signal?

I am very technically minded when it comes to WiFi

If you want to use your neighbor's wifi then you need a CPE, get a Mikrotik Metal AC and 6dBI antenna (normally comes with it)

Otherwise look for the TP-link or Tenda CPE units they launched recently
