Hello, we have a B&B and i would like to give customers a wifi option preferably with a voucher type system.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I was thinking of using Ubiquiti, but not sure if their airOS can do this?
If anyone has experience with this sort of thing please give me some advice, I assume mikrotik would be preferred, but my knowledge of them is limited.

_________
More Info:

Roughly 6 - 8 connected clients at most ( VDSL line )
I would like it to have a splash screen with the details etc
I would like to use some sort of voucher system to top up their session after the free wifi ran out ( Like 500Mb free and then you have to purchase if that makes sense )

Unifi , you can host the controller software in the cloud as well. You can either use the ubiquiti radius or any other radius software such as freeradius. You can have multiple ssids on the unifi. Otherwise I would recommend the unifi in conjunction with a mikrotik rb705gl with hotspot and userman setup. You can have trial accounts with e.g 500mb free usage without them having to have a username and password. Also you can rate limit accounts e.g if they go over 5gb etc.

Freeradius implementation for a B&B is a little overkill.

Mikrotik have all of this built-in so there really is no need for anything else.

Mikrotik + Hotspot User Manager.

How would I go about this, is it GUI or do I have to work in that black background with the white text terminal style thing.

Does this offer voucher based access?

@Paul5186, Would unifi be able to do a voucher/token based access control out of the box or must I use third party solutions like free radius ?

Can you access unifi over the internet say I have 5 B&B and want to monitor them from time to time, or must it be within the physical network?

I noticed you said cloud. but cloud is a broad term.

The initial setup is via the console or via windox. But there is a gui for management of the users and a landing page for the hotspot.

Yes I have quite a few sites, I.e unifi's at different locations each under their own map setup on my vps which is not on my network. All AP's get automatically updated, can change AP's IP'S remotely, lots of stats e.g how many clients are connected to what ap, how much data etc

Sweet this sounds like a Winner!

(voucher based authentication is that available out of the box? )

Afaik, the Unifi setup after initial config does offer a Walled Garden, however the voucher implementation is not builtin, that requires something else to manage it

*Looks like this has changed since a few months ago

Yes it is, Ubiquiti is also very good at updating firmware and software with new features.
