wifi settings

Hi

I have just got an ipad.
I am using a desktop PC with vitality as an internet provider.My router is a wireless type - Telkom 100WR.
Can anyone assist in connecting IPAD to internet using this wireless router.
Keeping in mind that I am not the most advanced pc user

Have you set up the wireless on the router? IE: Password, security etc? From there connecting wirelessly from your iPad should be easy.

On your iPad, go to:

1. settings (the gear)
2. Wi-Fi (second option from the top)
3. Touch the wi-fi slider button to switch it on
4. under "choose a network", touch the network of yours to select it
5. if this is the first time you are connecting to your wi-fi it will ask for your wi-fi pasword
6. you will be connected, and you will see the signal strength at the top
