Will 8.ta 3GB Data Micro-Sim in iPad2 ?

i was told the 2+1GB 8.ta Data SIM Card will NOT Work in an iPad2.
anyone tried this ?
results?

I dont understand why would it not work as its a a Data and a Micro SIM with 8.ta 3GB data should work. (could be wrong hence im asking)
