Will my CPU be able to run Diablo 3?

I'm upgrading my GPU soon, but it'll take a few months of saving to afford a new CPU.

I have an i3 2120 3.3 ghz.
 
To Sokkie and Internetswag - as long as you have a dual core or higher CPU ( c2d+ ) you can run any game,what WILL however hold you back is your RAM and most importantly your graphics card - it's the difference between running 2 FPS and 40FPS

Hmm... Really? :confused: this means it's my hdd I use a 2.5" to boot. I will try to install it on my other hdd and see what happens.

I use the old 9400 GT and 3gb of ram.
 
My amd quadie works quite hard in my lappy to play d3 with 8gb ram and 6550m so i3 will be fine , i3 even play bf3

Sokkie dans, it's your 9400gt that's holding you back.
 
A 560TI or a 6770 will do you MAJOR improvement without breaking the bank
 
Guys come on guys but I played mw3 on this baby. Which gpu do you recommend then?. I can spend R800 I'm not a hard core gamer.

It's fine :) I recently also upgraded my pc - it's quite a mission upgrading because you need to replace everything cause nothing is compatible anymore.

for what it's worth I'm looking at spending about R2000-2500 on my new GPU.
 
For that you can get a 560, but all u really need is a 550. It will handle all just fine. My gf's pc has a 250 in and it plays all from wow to bf3, no problems. Just remember the better your gpu the better ur psu will have to be. 550 will still be fine on a 500w whereas a 560 u would have to look at 600w+. If i was looking at upgrading I would go for a i5 sandy, 8gb ram, 550 and 600w psu.
Dont need to upgrade though got i7, and gtx 570 :) handles all often run two games at once :)

I moved from a 7600gt to a 6770 a while ago,went from 1024x768 to 1600x1200 with High detail settings on Skyrim,Gfx is your single most important piece for gaming

I'll just focus on work right now and put a little something aside every month, by December I'll have enough to get myself a monster pc. I really wanna play nfs the run :(
