Will they connect?

Hi guys,

I just moved onto a 20Mbps line as of the recent price drops and wanted to know if I go purhcase a ZyXEL Z-VMG1312-B10A router, if it would connect to my Netgear range extender as they are different brands? I see no problem in them working together but just want any feedback before I purchase the ZyXel.

I have not personally tried that before although I do not see a reason why it shouldn't work.

I did however have a bit of an issue with a clients DGN2200 (using it as an AP) and a D-Link AP, the Netgear was being all iffy and did not want to work as a repeater for the D-Link AP so I had to set the D-Link as the extender and the Netgear as the main AP.

AP = access point just incase you weren't too sure.
