GIGABYTE® ODIN 720W 24-Pin Power Supply, 4 Molex & 6 SATA Power Connectors, Intel LGA775 Ready & Approved, Includes Power Cable

Thanks

Since its an Odin, 720W sounds about right. If it was a semi decent brand, 500W would be enough

I'd go for the Seasonic 520W - its ~R710 from Sybaritic, and a much better product.

Rectron... *spits*

Try and get a Corsair PSU. GS600 (3yr warranty)/TX650 (5yr warranty).

Gigabyte is less than both.

^ Corsair rebrands lots of Seasonic PSU's.

MORE than enough.
You will be able to run 2x HD6950 easily.

If you don't plan to do something that wild in the future, you can skim by with 550, but 600-650 would be the ideal range.

Yeah its enough...but its an Odin...get a decent psu that can last longer.

Odin is sh|t, get a Corsair.

"Intel LGA775 Ready & Approved" means squat if you're intending to run a 1155 Socket

Should be OK, but try get something decent. The Gigabyte Odin GT 550watt is a better product.

Um no. Those Odin's are crappy. They get rated for peak power output and not continuous like proper brands.

lol, cougar.

Both are under a R1000

zalman ZM600-HP : 600w
Coolermaster GX: 750w

Try looking at Seasonic, corsair and Antec as well.

I'd stay away from Antec. I've been doing a lot of research the past couple of weeks since I want to get a decent new PSU, and Antec seems to have let their standards slip tremendously.

i agree, i wouldnt buy it either, but looking at the budget...i would choose it over odin.
