According to the system requirements it should work, I'm just looking for a second opinion. :)

It should, but be prepared for low settings and low fps. My friend plays on an old dual core (OC'd to 3hgz) and a 9600GT, 6GB RAM, he gets very annoyed because the game struggles to run, even on low.

But he can still play so... :)

Thank you that's all I wanted to know. :)

I'd try OC the cpu, but it should play.

Yeah I was thinking the same, problem is it's a second hand Pc and the heatsink isn't fastened on cause the clips have broken off. So it would be a little dodge to overclock it.

Its going to cost you R150 at most to get a stock cooler replacement, you cant run a PC & expect it to work when your heatsink isn't correctly fitted, that's just asking for it.

& if the clips are broken on the mobo itself iam sure you'll be able to find someone with a dead mobo just to get the old clips

Overclocking that cpu will yield 200-300 more, barely worth the effort.

Try and find a second hand cpu for 500 bucks rather.

I'm playing on a 4200+ with 2GB ram and a 8800GT.
Settings on medium at 1920 x 1080, I find it acceptable.

Download the half density texture pack at skyrimnexus.com

It makes the game much better on older PCs.
