Not you. But I am currently planning to propose... She is all a man like me can ever ask for... She is a great mother, my mom and her have this great relationship I envy sometimes. She has a very good job, a hard worker and she is great in all departments! I love her with all my heart and she loves me too... She has helped me get through all sorts of things, the death of my old man, being unemployed at some point and recently with my sister who had a mishap... She never complains, she lets me watch sport and play games and takes my socks off the coffee table... and cleans after me... She thinks the world of me... She may not be Zulu, but she speaks it like I do... She is smart! Funny and witty. She is a medical doctor... This is something that has kept the doctor away for me! She helped in my sister's recovery plan... I have known her since 1999... She is techno savvy. She kicks my ass in chess... I can probably think of a few reasons why I should not marry her, but these are enough for me to bring her to my side of the family officially... my sister loves her!!! So American Swiss have this special going on with all diamonds... 25 percent off to be precise ... I plan to buy one little finger number and plan for the right moment... Sorry for the long story, but I had to tell it... I need to bring her on board guys... What do you think...?

I think you should make up your own mind and ignore what everyone else would think or say. It all sounds good by what you wrote thus good luck and enjoy life. I hope it all works out for you two.

You guys are right... I am confident that she is the one... I'm gonna get on with it... I will come back for marriage proposal ideas, places etc... Thanks for all the good wishes! It's just that someone in my family suggested that we are young... That had me worried...

Don't do it dude she'll expect diamonds every-time American Swiss has a 25% sale. Seriously though she sounds like everything that you want in a partner, if you make each other happy why not go for it.
 
Everything seems to be perfect except the socks on the coffee table.
That's a deal breaker dude.

I can see why you wanted an opinion :eek:, don't get some ring that 200 other people have bought though.

25% sale or not they are still bloody expensive!!

We were looking through that 25% advert thing and I honestly couldn't believe jewellery to be so expensive.

Agreed... But when you think about it... It's a grand deal without which you will pay R2500 more on a deal that's asking for R10k... That's quite a saving wouldn't you say? I could be wrong with my calculations...
