Is this now the same guy that made electric vehicles a proper choice and still probably produce the best?
Is this the same guy that Nasa have to ask to send their astronauts to space?
By the looks of it.. he had engineers , and professional people running SpaceX/Tesla. Twitter... is run by him.

Uhm do you think he has the time to go and sit and run Twitter?

No, not because I'm against Elon's Twitter, but because I'm not a celebrity or famous.

I'm glad that they're beginning to put the leftist deplorables in their place. You guys have been dominating for decades now.

Would argue the opposite, it's more that he's good at getting hype funding, actually running companies are done by others.

Twitter might be the first company he's actually properly running, and even there I hope he has enough advisers. Wouldn't invest in anything with his name on it, he has lied so often in investor calls that he should probably be investigated for it (cyber truck still isn't launched, the plan for Tesla taxies is always 2 years away for quite a few years now, etc.).

SpaceX seems to run without any of his input for most of the NASA things, but the net piece he's attempted to double dip with Ukraine War, etc.

Well said.

By the looks of it... he is spending way more time on twitter than actually running anything else.

But Elon fanboys can pay his $8. I just love to see how the drama unfolds...

OMG he just spend $44billion to buy Twitter, surely he can spend some time the first few weeks to sort a few things?
If you buy your kids a Tv or PS5, are you going to supervise them the rest of their lives while playing or just the first day or two helping them setup and what to do?

He's having an awesome first week, fired a whole lot of staff, flipflopped on the cost of his new subscription service, got his staff sleeping in their office and making them work 12 hour days to deliver on his random ideas, alienated advertisers, cried because he alienated advertisers, threatened to name and shame advertisers who left the platform which will alienate the remaining advertisers...
Elon has this vision of himself as the saviour of humanity. Not sure if he's that deluded or just that narcissistic, but he clearly is unaware of what a ponce he is.
He's also blocking people who legitimately question or contradict him, further enforcing the fact that his trope of a "town hall" where everyone can express their views is a joke, since he himself is not open to listening to everyone's views. (Although this shouldn't be a surprise, since he's already been known to fire Tesla staff on the spot for disagreeing with him).
Really confused as to why he gets so much hero-worship, when he's just a some rich guy who happened to be born in South Africa. What exactly is he doing to "save humanity" as he claims is his goal?

More than anyone on here could ever imagine to achieve.
The argument that because I haven't done something, I cannot have an opinion, is an interesting one.
He has achieved the status of the richest human being on Earth. So does that mean that unless you're in the Bill Gates / Warren Buffet / Jeff Bezos club, you can't comment on Elon?

It's a legitimate question. My achievements or lack thereof are entirely irrelevant.
What has Elon done to "save humanity", as he claims is his goal? Can you please list some of those in bullet form?
