Twitter is a cesspool and should die.
I only use it to check Eskom announcements and if there is a power outage in my area.
Every minute on there reminds me why I avoid it. Twitter brings out the worst in humanity and then showcases it in a feedback-loop-like race to the bottom.

Twitter > Facebook imo.

I've gotten an amazingly fun well paying remote tech job thanks to the people I've met on twitter. It's far more valuable than Facebook and LinkedIn if you use it right.

If I used the platform sure. I pay for GitHub, dockerhub .etc even though they have a free offering. If I use it on the daily I support it, premium features are a bonus.

I don't have an account but I wouldn't if I did. I just hope he doesn't stop us lurkers from viewing accounts posts. I don't want to create a twitter account to view Eskom, City Power, Rand Water, Joburg water posts, as well as a couple of others I have bookmarked. As it is, it is they trying to force us to login if you go to far down the feed.

not really a twitter fan if they can improve the UI. I stumbled upon Reddit a few months ago and that is my go to app for everything. hate facebook only go on to stalk Twitter is cumbersome have been on the app since 2016 and still struggling my way around it.

I'm thinking of joining Reddit they don't seem a bad type there. Though I reckon like any social media, it is probably the topics that you follow.

Reddit has their idiots, but in general sticks to the sub topics well. mods usually do a decent job too

Elon Musk is by no means a FOOL to have paid $44 billion for this platform which I have never used and don't know how to but I would consider for the future as Elon Musk is the Future , he had my admiration and respect for his achievements . My vote remains NO for now unless otherwise I find it beneficial and say goodbye to FAKEBOOK
