Why did lieutenant Uhuru?

Because William Shatner.

interesting- William shatbrook text to speech. I want my TTS engine to read in a james earl jones. Now that I would pay for....
or that guy that always did voice overs for trailers in the 90's- "In a world marred by chaos. Comes the story of a man..."
or or or- that guy on ETV. "When a game of high stakes poker turns into a booty call, only one man can step up and put out. James bondage- only on EEEEEE"

The words "William Shatner" bring back childhood memories of his voice on "Rescue 911".
It was one of the few shows on TV that we were allowed to watch from a young age, and it instilled a healthy respect for not doing stupid things and appreciating the fragility of life. Also, a love of his voice. His and Riaan Cruywagen's voices. Ahh.

I remember distinctly one episode where a little kid literally "ran" their sibling through with a kitchen knife. I remember Shatner expousing the virtues of not running with a knife, or scissors, especially not pointing forward.

8 year old me has since never run with scissors and when I carry a knife it is always point down, sharp edge inwards.

Thank you, William Shatner.
