win 7 virtual pc file mount

Hi, I need to mount a file in win 7 in virtual pc. there where one add a hard drive , the browse for file is grey. So it seem I need to manually place it somewhere. Do anyone knows where to put what in windows 7. I got admin rights.
 
Can you try explain what you trying to do a bit more clearly.

Cant seem to comprehend what you asking.

Install the PC Extra's and just copy and paste the file.

Alternatively, put the file on a USB disk and access from the Virtual PC.
 
If you use VMWare Player you can just copy paste into it (or mount an ISO as a virtual CDROM... not quite sure what you actually mean as you don't give an indication of the environment you are working in...
 
I got 3 files, *.vhd 21 gigs and a *.vmc and *.vsv , I need to place them somewhere so that virtual pc can open the *.vhd file.
