i shut down to...trying to help eskom in a little way.
We all should save our work and shut down all pc's at peak.....mmm

Not really, I don't use it often

Hibernate reserves hard-disc space equal to the amount of RAM you have. Not really a problem with todays 1000gb drives, but yeah. The other thing is, that some of the services running in the background don't like it (E.g. Diskeeper service).

A proper shutdown once a week is a good idea IMO.

Only time I restart is when I get load shed on
