ive had this virus for around 8 months

i have deleted all my .exe formatted every hdd

reloaded from start with everything formatted yet its keep infecting me?


ive googled and there is no fix anyone having a similar problem

Are you copying some backed up files onto these freshly formatted drives?

yup that ms bulletin is for xp not sp2 which i have

vcleaner cleans it but the minute i reboot its all back

the only thing i put back on was my pics and mp3s no .exe files

aggggg i dunno maybe reload again grrrrrr

i dont have a stiffy drive

System restore turned off, unneccesary startup files in Run >> msconfig ?

yea system is off nothing else running on my pc at all but this freakin thing keep infecting me

Make sure system restore is off, restart in safe-mode, run the cleaner and try again

Don't know about that virus, but google "autoruns" on MS site. Much better than msconfig.

Perhaps consider slipstreaming all the latest patches and services packs onto your OS CD before re-installing?

Did it work? Are u using NOD32?

the tool what worked for me was that microsft malicous removal tool or bitdefender and system restore must be off and try scan in safe mode

It must have infected some of the files that you are copying back onto your PC...

/me votes for clean wipe of all harddrives at once and starting from scratch (yeah, I wouldn't do it either)
